His experience on dozens of films spans the globe, but even Armstrong was proud of successfully meeting the challenge presented by the sheer numbers of extras which needed to be carefully choreographed for the battle scenes in the desert. Working very closely with visual/special effects supervisor Kit West, each scene was designed, rehearsed and prepped to protect the safety of the extras and actors. Antoine Bonsorte|Computer Designer|BIOGRAPHICAL & CREDITS:~Computer Designer ANTOINE BONSORTE was born in North Africa and raised in Southern France. It was in Paris that he began restoring antique monuments, and his work eventually led him to Tahiti, where he designed the Museum of Human Sciences. Bonsorte has established himself as an art director in Los Angeles with such diversified credits as the "Red Shoe Diaries," and "Suburban Commando."~~JOB DESCRIPTION:~Bonsorte was responsible, among other things, for the production of the intricate design work on the set moldings, the StarGate, and the Cover Stone. Dean Devlin|Co-Writer - Producer|BIOGRAPHICAL & CREDITS:~Producer and Co-Screenwriter DEAN DEVLIN was known as an actor for several years before segueing to the other side of the camera. He worked on Broadway in James Kirkwood's "There must be a Pony," and on many television and film projects, most notably on TV's "L.A. Law." ~~While acting in "Moon 44," he and director Emmerich began a friendship which eventually led to collaboration on other film projects.
